How to wash the carpet at home

1. If your carpet is thin, like 5mm or 8mm, you can use a laundry machine. However, make sure to use cold water and detergent instead of hot water. After washing, spread it on the ground outside or hang it somewhere, but be cautious about exposing it to direct sunlight for too long to avoid any negative impact on its colours. Once the carpet is dry, you can use it again. Remember, using chemical substances like bleach is not recommended. Detergent alone is sufficient for washing the carpet.

 

2. If your carpet is thick or heavy, you have two options. First, you can use a Hoover machine, which is an easy way to clean it. Alternatively, you can wash the carpet by hand outside. In both cases, remember not to use chemicals like bleach and avoid using hot water at any step. Instead, use a carpet shampoo or detergent along with cold water throughout the process.
